Spanning 6,700 acres over a wild, diverse landscape, Victory Ranch offers the best of mountainous terrain, rushing waters and wide-open skies — with all the comforts of a private, four-season vacation destination. Below, find five reasons why life at the Ranch feels like you’re amid your very own national park.

1. Unparalleled stargazing every night

Out in the backcountry — absent of light pollution, with no buildings for miles — you’ll find extraordinary views of the night sky. Some people have to drive hours to get a glimpse of the Milky Way in all its glory. The Ranch frames it every night.

2. Protected land and strategic conservation initiatives

Just like the National Park Service, we want members, guests and native wildlife to thrive on this land for generations to come. The Conservancy at Victory Ranch is dedicated to conservation, restoration and protection through year-round programs. These include joining forces with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to protect the Columbia Spotted Frog and Pacific Pollination to study the declining honeybee population.

3. Rare views of all kinds of wild animals

Since 4,000 acres of Victory Ranch is completely untouched land, it’s a prime habitat for small creatures and magnificent beasts. Some of the wild animals you might encounter include Bald Eagles, porcupine, moose, bobcats and weasels.

4. Natural freshwater sources

Four miles of the Upper Provo run through Victory Ranch while Stony Lake provides a serene waterside retreat. Here, members are welcome to go swimming, fly fishing, stand-up paddleboarding and more to experience the best of both river and water adventures — which you can’t often miss out on in national parks.

5. A sense of community

While camping at a national park, you get the opportunity to meet people from all over the country, and maybe even the world. Victory Ranch — by way of The Barn, The Freestone Lodge and more — fosters an unrivaled sense of community with other members and guests (with all the luxuries you miss out on at communal campsites).

Nothing compares to summertime fun at Victory Ranch, especially if you’re a kid. Set off on mountain bike rides via our private trails, sneak a second helping of ice cream from the Post’s self-serve station, reel in that very first catch on the Upper Provo River and wind down over fireside s’mores with neighbors-made-friends at the Freestone Lodge. Here, the littles can run wild in a world seemingly made just for them. Because at the end of the day? The most precious gift we can give our children is the opportunity to, fully and freely, be a kid.

Rev Up

This summer will be as memorable as ever, where the kiddos are off and running from one adrenaline-fueled activity to the next. And when we say the adventures awaiting are endless, we’re not exaggerating — from mountain biking to archery, each and every amenity and excursion is carefully designed to enrich your little one’s mountain experience, ignite a newfound appreciation for nature and encourage exploration and fun. Here, your outdoor enthusiasts in-training are free to be wild amongst the sweeping greenery and grand peaks that surround, whether it be hiking the wondrous panoramic backcountry terrain or making a splash in the glistening two-acre Stony Lake. And, with paddle tennis and pedal carts available for play onsite, there is truly never a dull moment.

Wind Down

While sun-soaked, adventure-filled summer days keep the kiddos moving, plenty of shaded hangouts and indoor activities await nearby for when it’s time to rest and refuel. At the Barn, Lil’ Ranchers can kick back in the game room or shoot baskets at the indoor sports court. Or, for those seeking to flourish their artistic abilities, the Barn’s arts & crafts studio offers arts and craft workshops and more. And for when it’s time to grab a bite, nothing is sweeter than cooling down at the Parlor for a slice and ice cream cone after a long afternoon at the pool.

Reconnect

Family connection is cherished at the Ranch. Every day presents an opportunity to share in meaningful memories, deepen your connection with loved ones and truly revel in uninterrupted quality time together. Here, from championing long sunrise hikes with the whole family to bonding over visions of an amber sky while enjoying activities on the Freestone Lodge lawn, Victory Ranch provides rich educational experiences for you and the ones that matter most. And perhaps most importantly, summer at the Ranch gifts your littles the joy of simply being a kid.

Situated on the edge of Victory Ranch’s backcountry wilderness, our two-acre Stony Lake offers the ultimate destination for water sports and summer fun at Victory Ranch. Backdropped by dramatic mountainscape and entirely immersed in nature, consider this your summer playground to cool off during the dog days, grab top-tier water gear from our beautifully crafted boathouse and take everything from kayaks to stand-up paddleboards and bumper boats for a spin. Dive into the details for yourself and press play on the below video.

Summer court sports at the Ranch are a cherished member favorite — adults become kids, neighbors quickly turn into friends and the family competition is fierce. Whether challenging your crew to a match or learning the ropes from our professionals, The Barn’s now open two tennis & pickleball courts and paddle tennis pavilion are the place to be this summer. Plus, our Victory Ranch Racket Sports program is offering a host of exciting activities and lessons to get you back in the game. Take it from our very own Pickleball Pro, Greg Leitzke.

What is happening in Victory Ranch Racket Sports this summer?

Whether you are looking to meet tennis players of similar abilities, meet your match in pickleball or join us in weekly pickleball mixers and play, you will find that our active racket sports go far beyond just getting in a good sweat.

What kind of lessons and events will Victory Ranch Racket Sports offer this summer?

Victory Ranch Racket Sports is planning a wide range of fun activities for both our beginner and seasoned members to participate in, including private and semi-private tennis, pickleball, and paddle lessons. Among our array of summer lessons, we will offer Learn to Play sessions, Weekly Pickleball and Introduction to Paddle & Tennis for all levels. We are also happy to set up play for you with players of similar ability. Members should be sure to review the Racket Sports schedule for daily activities.

Can you tell us a little about you?

It’s so much fun to run the Victory Ranch Racket Sports program. As a lifetime tennis player, and having recently found a passion for playing competitive Pickleball, it is a dream to share the sports I love with the incredible members here at the Ranch. As a certified Pickleball instructor, I am available for Pickleball lessons as well as introductory lessons in paddle tennis.

During this quiet time of reflection, we have an outpour of gratitude for the grounding, uplifting forces that our outdoor setting provides. While a growing body of evidence ties time in nature to numerous health benefits, the idea that getting fresh air is integral to our wellbeing is intuitivewe can feel it when we’re out there. From hiking backcountry trails at a steady pace to casting lines with perfect precision, we’re fortunate for the numerous ways to harness nature’s therapeutic effects right here at the Ranch.

Find Stillness

To bring a greater sense of calm into your day, carve out dedicated time to step outside, look around and pay attention to nature at work. Studies have shown that spending a short 20 minutes outdoors can significantly help lower cortisol levels, and in turn, reduce stress, anxiety, cognitive fatigue and depression. To really tune into benefits of appreciating nature, such as boosting positive emotions like joy and contentment, be sure to disconnect digitally, immerse yourself in a green space and take notice of the sights, sounds, smells and feel of the environment around you.

Get Moving

Equal parts healing and just plain fun, immersing yourself in nature is one of the greatest gifts of mountain living. At Victory Ranch, we like to live a life that’s entirely wild and free, where an array of outdoor activities inspire us to get out for feel-good movement and take in the natural landscape that we call home. And beyond the many perks of exercise, there’s a lengthy list of benefits from simply being outside to admire a hard-earned view mid-hike or rush of crisp air on a bike ride—we’re talking reduced inflammation, improved short-term memory, lower blood pressure and a strengthened immune system, to name a few.

Reconnect

Beyond the many physical and psychological benefits of exercising outdoors or swapping screen time for green views, reconnecting with nature can uplift the spirits and inspire a healthy dose of reflection. By inducing awethe sense of wonder that comes with being in the presence of something greater—getting outside makes us more inclined to put our worries into perspective, recenter and refocus on what matters most.

At the Ranch, we’re fortunate to live amongst miles and miles of open backcountry that long preceded us. From bald eagles soaring overhead to water rushing the Upper Provo, nature stirs all-aroundoffering us ample opportunity to clear the mind, soothe the soul and widen our eyes to the beauty that surrounds us. This week, we hope you take some time to get out there and nourish you mind, body and soul.

Whether hanging up your boots for après ski sips, gathering with your crew for live music or simply refreshing between runs on the mountain (from electrolyte drinks to toothbrushes, we’ve got you covered), 875 Main is undoubtedly one of our favorite Victory Ranch hangouts. Located at the base of Park City’s Town Lift, 875 Main is our members’ personal basecamp—one that serves as a private ski-in/ski-out lodge come winter and offers a direct connection to Park City’s storied cafes, restaurants, boutiques, galleries and nightlife all year long. Below, browse through the comforts that make our Victory Ranch lounge such a special place.

Let Us Take Care of That

Less time spent on your gear means more time spent on the mountain—and that’s why 875 Main offers a ski valet that will greet you at the curb to collect your skis and boots, and when you’re ready to hit the slopes, will have your gear ready-to-go at the lift. In fact, 875 Main is fully staffed throughout the day during ski season to ensure that your experience is a memorable one. And beyond these services, our lounge is well-appointed with boot driers, extra-large lockers, a comfortable lounge area with a 70” TV, well-stocked kitchen, beverage center and restroom for the ultimate in comfort and convenience.

And come après ski hour, gather with friends and family over wine and beer as you share stories about the day’s events.

After you’ve left your all on the slopes, there’s nothing quite like coming back to relax with friends and family over a cold one and good tunes at 875 Main. Available on select nights, 875 offers light bites, sips and live music performances from local bands that keep the energy high throughout the evening.

While Park City’s slogan is “Winter’s Favorite Town,” we’re here to affirm the phrase without bias. Winter and Park City are a true match made in heaven for both kids and adults alike, offering an idyllic playground pulled right from a storybook. Below, take a look at what makes the ski season so incredibly special in our Utah neighborhood.

Best-in-Class Ski Resorts

Some 350 inches of powder a year fall on Utah’s legendary slopes, and Victory Ranch puts you within minutes of some of the very best. In fact, the gondola for the “Best Snow on Earth” at Deer Valley is just 15 minutes from our front gate. In Park City, our members-only lodge, 875 Main, provides unrivaled ski-in/ski-out access with valet services, lockers, boot driers and a fully-stocked kitchen. Grabbing a drink after shredding the slopes has never been easier.

World-Renowned Dining

You don’t have to be in a metropolis like New York or San Francisco to enjoy the pleasures of a five-star meal. Though in a much quieter location, Park City’s restaurant scene is no less impressive. Some of our favorite places to wine and dine on Main Street include Riverhorse on Main, Fletcher’s, Shabu and many, many more.

A Bustling Evening + Nightlife

Main Street in Park City is packed with 150 different bars, lounges and theaters—all within walking distance of each other, so you can effortlessly plan a night out. Just show up and walk in one of the many (figuratively) open doors. You’ll find art galleries and wine tastings, Irish pubs and breweries, gatherings like the renowned Sundance Film Festival and much, much more to keep you satiated and entertained all winter long.

Experience the wonder that is winter in Park City with an unrivaled shared ownership opportunity at Victory Ranch. The Residence Club offers all the perks of Victory Ranch ownership without the hassle of full-time homeownership. Do you remember what it’s like to have a childlike sense of wonder? Like when your backyard would become a universe unto its own after winter’s first snowfall, full of possibility and play? Or how your first catch on the river would put a smile on your face that was bigger than you could’ve ever imagined? Well, this is a mere day in the life of a kid at Victory Ranch. Here, with the enchanting natural world at their fingertips, our little ones are born to be wild.

However, in the modern world of smartphones, social media, television and video games, kids are staying indoors more than ever. On the other hand, though, today’s parents are looking to combat this new normal. And The Residence Club at Victory Ranch is making it incredibly simple. By taking away all the hassles of homeownership, like cleaning and grocery shopping, Victory Ranch is granting families the rare opportunity to sit back, relax and finally enjoy the great outdoors with their kids.

So, what happens when you’re able to come home to your beautifully designed, fully appointed cabin home without having to lift a finger? The kids run free. Whether they’re tracking animal footprints in our Animals & Habitat Exploration camp, journeying to the backcountry yurts via snowmobile or putting their creativity to the test in an arts & crafts class in The Barn, the possibilities to explore their imaginations are seemingly endless. Here, we’ve worked tirelessly to create an environment for your little ones to chase after their wildest dreams.

And you? You needn’t worry about a thing besides heading out on your next backcountry pursuit, unwinding at The Spa or toasting (and roasting s’mores) to the day’s adventures as the sun sets over the Wasatch Range.

Because at the end of the day? We’re all just kids, and we’re all born to live wild and free. So head out and revel in it all. Leave the heavy lifting to us at The Residence Club.

Setting out on snow-swept trails via snowshoe, enjoying sips between ski runs at 875 Main, building snowmen with the kiddos—it’s all right around the corner.
